Muffakhem Jah College of Engineering & Technology, NEN E Cell
Entrepreneurship has become the key need for existence in the commercially oriented world nowadays. Today a successful entrepreneur is hailed as much as an award winning scientist. Hence to salute this spirit E Cell MJCET hosted ‘Festivity 2010’. Keeping the banner of NEN held high, the idea of ‘Festivity’ revolved around the theme, ‘India: Opportunities Within’.
Keeping India’s daunting challenges in mind, E Cell MJCET have come up with a research and development initiative. This aims at building a ‘Self Sufficient Home’, being completely off the grid, an indigenous and one of its kind attempt by any institution so far.
The ‘Self Sustainable Home’ would generate power and water requirement for itself, thereby demonstrating an effective solution to the current energy crisis. This would help us in doing our bit for the nation and civilization as a whole.
This is our humble way to remind the world that profit does not depend only on gaining praises and accolades for oneself but, real profit lies in the wholesome development of the environment and by giving back to the world what it truly deservers from us. This we believe is the sign of a true Entrepreneur.
Is expensive office space a major constraint for bootstrapping startups?

Let's face it, office space doesn't come cheap and there is only so much we can do from home. To build a team, to have the interest of potential recruits/customers, a decent office is essential. It also adds greatly to one's productivity for sure.
So, how are the startups meeting this challenge? Any innovative ideas/offers?
