STARTUP DESCRIPTION A campus company, Recom is a social entrepreneurship venture that provides computers to schools in rural areas at low costs. The start-up recycles and remodels old computers from their institution and other IT companies and sells them to rural schools. The IT company, Cognizant, has promised Recom 100 computers for their venture and already, some schools of Nadia district of West Bengal have decided to buy computers from them. Recom also plans to have computer literacy campaigns at these schools on a regular basis. |
