SSN College of Engineering, Lakshya
Started in 2009, our E Cell, ‘Lakshya’ is the most prominent student body in our college. Lakshya made its presence felt in the college starting from the 50 rupee activity after which, there was no looking back. A host of events and speaker sessions later, there was a need to communicate to the strong member base about the latest happenings in the world of entrepreneurship. This resulted in ‘SPARK’, a fortnightly, with its first cover about Mr.Sharath Babu, CEO FoodKing. Within a short span of time, Lakshya has grown alot! Pulling in remarkable speakers from countries like United States, Dubai, the speaker sessions have been a big hit, especially during E-Week 2010. The other signature event of Eweek was the ‘Vuja De’, a city-wide event based on clue-solving and hands-on activities. Eventually, it won us the Runners Up trophy at E-Week 2010. Lakshya is now looking forward to carry on the momentum as well as focus on an ‘Innovation cell’ in the college and focus on campus businesses this year!
Is expensive office space a major constraint for bootstrapping startups?
Posted by Nitesh Chandra 2 years 19 weeks
Let's face it, office space doesn't come cheap and there is only so much we can do from home. To build a team, to have the interest of potential recruits/customers, a decent office is essential. It also adds greatly to one's productivity for sure.
So, how are the startups meeting this challenge? Any innovative ideas/offers?
