Vivekananda Institute of Technology, Jaipur, Decoller

The
VIT Campus comprising of two Engineering colleges namely

Vivekananda Institute
of Technology and Vivekananda Institute of

Technology (East) was launched in
Jaipur from the session 2008-09.

Within a short span of three and half years of
its inception, it has made a standing amongst the self-financed professional
institutes in Rajasthan. The VIT Campus offers B. Tech courses in Information
Technology (IT), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics and
Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Civil Engineering
and Mechanical Engineering (ME) and MBA. These Institutions are AICTE approved
and affiliated to the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. Very soon the VIT
Campus will be converted into a self financed University under the Act of the
State Government.  

The E-Cell of VIT campus, Jaipur "Decoller" started in October 2010 with the objective---

Ø To
promote entrepreneurship and self-employment amongst technical students as an
attractive and viable career option

Ø To
encourage Entrepreneurship Skills in students and to provide them with the
platform to take up Entrepreneurship as their primary path. Emphasis is laid on
fostering the zeal and relative skills in students to become a JOB PROVIDER rather
than being the JOB SEEKERS.

Ø To
encourage student start ups from the campus and to guide them in their
respective start ups.

Ø  To develop an entrepreneurial approach so that
students who won’t be taking up entrepreneurship as a field can excel in their
respective fields with the managerial and technical skills and can become
Techno Managers.

Ø To
provide exposure and support to the students from the industry –interface
Program and Internship programs to help them out set up their own business
ventures. This we try to accomplish by our collaboration with NEN and various
renowned institutes.

Ø To
educate the students in the field they require knowledge in, for running up a
successful business. This is done by organizing various workshops and
encouraging students to attend workshops and sessions related to different
aspects of entrepreneurship and financial management as well as on business
development.
