S.P.Jain Institute of Management Studies and Research Set up by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) is among the top ten B-Schools in India that has pioneered sustainable innovations in pedagogy like the Development of Corporate Citizenship learning to MBA participants and in extending the Family Managed Business Program.

SPJIMR set up the Center for Entrepreneurship in response to the invitation from the Wadhwani Foundation to be a founder-member of NEN.

The Center has a team of entrepreneurial faculty who have participated in faculty development programs conducted by Babson College, Harvard Business School, University of California, Berkeley and others. It is well networked with the eco-system of entrepreneurs, investors and experts.

The Center offers courses on entrepreneurship customized to the mainstream 2 year MBA program and to the Executive MBA programs. In 2006, it launched the first-of-its-kind Start Your Business Program for budding entrepreneurs. Over 150 participants have completed this program and more than 25 have commenced their ventures. The program is now set to go national through the virtual classroom mode. 

Entrecom, the student committee for entrepreneurship organizes the annual event, Lock-Stock-Trade (LST), conceptualized and executed in partnership with NEN. LST is a unique event that provokes student interest in entrepreneurs by ‘investing’ in their ventures through a ‘Mock IPO’ pitch made by entrepreneur led student teams from leading B Schools.
