Loyola College, EDCLoyola
Initiated 5 years ago, The Loyola EDC has successfully formed into one of the biggest and most popular clubs at Loyola College. With its reputation progressively growing year after year, the management have given it the credit course status in the curriculum.
The facilities and infrastructure provided by the management takes EDC to the forefront of club rankings in Loyola College, and amongst the e-cells in the country. The Loyola EDC aims at promoting overall development of students through entrepreneurship education and spreading awareness about entrepreneurship on and beyond the campus.
EDC at Loyola is also exploring new collaborations including one with the Royal bank of Scotland.
E Week India 2010 under the title OXYGEN ’10 turned out to be a head turner, with the active participation of 15,000+ students. A crowd of more than 20,000 were addressed through outdoor programmes, which were organised at prime spots in the city during the weekends. Workshops, seminars, panel discussions, special competitions, etc. gave the whole campus a festive look throughout the week. Much to our pleasure, the Loyola EDC was recognized in the Honor Roll during E Week
Is expensive office space a major constraint for bootstrapping startups?
Posted by Nitesh Chandra 2 years 19 weeks
Let's face it, office space doesn't come cheap and there is only so much we can do from home. To build a team, to have the interest of potential recruits/customers, a decent office is essential. It also adds greatly to one's productivity for sure.
So, how are the startups meeting this challenge? Any innovative ideas/offers?
