Pearl Academy of Fashion

Pearl Academy of Fashion (PAF), established in 1993 has emerged as India’s most prestigious provider of education and training for the fashion, design, textile, communication, retail and fashion business management sectors. The Academy is promoted by the House of Pearl Fashions Ltd., one of India’s leading multinational industrial house in the apparel and textile sector.

 

The Academy has three campuses in India, New Delhi, Jaipur, Chennai and two abroad Dhaka and Sharjah. PAF has been ranked number one in ‘Competence of faculty’ by a Mint - Hindustan Times survey in 2009, and conferred ‘The Best Academic / Training Institute of the Year’ Award by Clothing Manufacturers Association of India in 2009. 

 

PAF has established extensive international tie-ups with educational organizations such as Nottingham Trent University, UK; Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong; London College of Fashion, London; Amsterdam Fashion Institute, Netherlands, Nagold, Germany, etc., for student/ faculty exchange, training and consultancy services, international conferences etc. Pearl enjoys an amiable relationship with international agencies such as UKIERI, delPHE, Defra (all UK) and GTZ (Germany).

 

The students of Pearl Academy of Fashion have, over the years, exhibited outstanding skills and talent. Some of the distinguished achievements of PAF students are ‘Fashioning the Future Award’, by the Centre for Sustainable Fashion at London College of Fashion; WOW 2009, “The Debut 09” Wills Lifestyle, 'Chitrakatha', presentation of Spring/Summer Collection for 2010 at London Fashion Week and WOW Factor Award, Beijing Fashion Week among many others.
