PES Engineering College, Mandya

People’s Education Society College of Engineering (PESCE) was established in the year 1962 by the great visionary and then education minister Late K V Shankara Gowda with the cooperation of philanthropic people of Mandya.  The institute is living up to its vision of providing technical education to youth in rural India, as it moves towards its Golden Jubilee celebration. The alumni of this institute are testimonial of its success. The institute comes under grant-in-aid scheme of the Government of Karnataka, and has AICTE recognition and accreditation of NBA. It is managed by People’s Education Trust. PESCE is an autonomous institute under Visveswaraya Technological University since 2008-09, a privilege offered to only few colleges of Karnataka by UGC. 

 

Started with three core engineering branches, the institute has spread its wings and currently offers nine undergraduate, five post-graduate along with MBA and MCA programs for 700 students. The institute believes in the overall development of its students and provides facilities and infrastructure that will make them better citizens of this country.
